Case Study #2
Client:
NetApp
Objective:
Intuit wanted to film a series of customer interviews during their annual convention in Las Vegas—but with a twist. Rather than a typical corporate or hotel setting, they envisioned the interviews taking place in a space that felt like a stylish, midsize executive home. The goal was to create a comfortable, elevated atmosphere that aligned with their brand.
Our Role:
Urban Samurai Creative collaborated with Intuit’s team to scout available spaces within the hotel and reimagine them as a welcoming, home-like environment. We transformed a standard conference room into a fully styled set—furnishing it from scratch and even creating custom artwork in Intuit’s brand colors to complete the look.
Approach:
We approached the project with a mix of design ingenuity and practicality. Every detail was considered, from color palette to decor, to achieve the feel of a private residence. The challenge was to completely disguise the corporate surroundings—and make the interviews feel authentic, personal, and visually warm.
Outcome:
The transformation exceeded expectations. The final set surprised and impressed both the client and their interviewees, capturing the tone and aesthetic Intuit had hoped for. The interviews were a hit—polished, on-brand, and unlike anything they had produced at previous events.
