Case Study #3
Client:
Intuit
Objective:
Full production support for the third installment of Intuit Connect ON — a new virtual event series, held roughly quarterly, delivering Intuit product updates (distinct from Intuit Connect, their annual in-person event in Las Vegas). This installment ran in June 2026.
Our Role:
Urban Samurai Creative managed the entire production — pre-production planning, filming, and post-production. The shoot ran in-studio on a back-to-back schedule across multiple set configurations, using moving walls and background set design to reconfigure the space between setups throughout the day.
Approach:
On the setup day before shooting, our team planned and rehearsed every set transition in advance. That meant each executive could be welcomed in on time for all five presentations and the fireside chat, with no delays between setups — even on a fast-moving schedule with an evolving content lineup and a tight post-production deadline. On the post-production side, we worked with Intuit's internal IT team to plan and build a complete on-site post-production suite — a NAS and multiple shared SSDs connected over a 10GbE switch — so our editors could work on the same footage simultaneously without bottlenecks.
That shared structure also let us scale the team up mid-project without losing time rebuilding project organization or onboarding new editors — they could plug straight into the same setup. Combined with a tightly managed editor schedule and fast feedback turnaround, that kept work moving around the clock and met Intuit's timeline.
Outcome:
Every video was delivered a day ahead of deadline. Intuit described the production as smooth and stress-free from start to finish.
